ALVARO DOMENECH, LCSW
Mr. Alvaro Domenech, LCSW is a Qualified Clinical Supervisor with over 27 years of progressive experience in Clinical Social Work, Management and Leadership. Mr. Domenech earned his Masters Degree in Social Work from Barry University in 1995. In that same year Mr. Domenech was hired as an adjunct professor to teach and subsequently coordinate the Divorce program at Miami Dade College where he taught for over 25 years. He retired from The Institute for Child and Family Health, ICFH (formerly known as Children’s Psychiatric Center) after 20 years of service in December of 2015. From January 2016 to present, he is acting Clinical Director of a local Community Mental Health Center in Miami.
Mr. Domenech specialized in clinical work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Currently, his focus is adults, co-parenting issues, trauma, midlife crisis issues, sexless marriages, threats of divorce, and infidelity, marathon therapy for couples and individuals, and couples counseling. He has training in psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, family, solution focused, and evidenced based therapies. He is a Florida board qualified clinical supervisor for Mental Health Counselors and Social Workers. He is also a seasoned field internship clinical supervisor for Florida International University, Barry University, and Nova Southeastern University.
