Leslee Gillette, LMHC is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 7 years of working with and helping couples, individuals, and adolescents. She has a borad scope of clinical expertise encompassing adolescent behavioral problems, divorce, all kinds of relationship problems, and any relational challenges. She also has extensive experience in dealing with parents, PTSD, self-injuring behavior, and communication skills building.
Leslee has specialized training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), couples and marital therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), for adolescent, couples, and adults.
Her therapeutic style is collaborative, authentic, and empathic, founded in her belief that a warm, trusting therapeutic relationship is the foundation of helping others heal. She is highly trained in DBT and has extensive experience using a variety of evidence-based trauma therapies to assit those in need. Most importantly, sessions are viewed as an opportunity to create a safe space where individuals can explore thoughts, feelings and experiences that have kept them stuck and prevented them from discovering their authentic selves.
